Goltz Syndrome Awareness

The most meaningful bow Nikhita has created to date is the one that represents her syndrome. She has Goltz Syndrome and she has designed this bow to reflect her experience with this condition.

A characteristic of Goltz Syndrome is streaking in the skin and this is why she chose glittery ribbon for this bow, because it reminds her of her skin. To top it off, green is the recognized color for Goltz.

Story Behind ...

Who Is Nikhi?

Nikhita is the 7-year-old CEO of Mini Nikhi's Boutique. Her boutique was inspired by Minnie Mouse's boutique on Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse and the concept began when she was 3 years old.

She told her mother that she wants to open a boutique that helps people find the perfect bow, just like how Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck do on the show. A pretend boutique was born where stuffed animals came to find the perfect bow.

Soon after, the pretend inventory of bows developed into an inventory of paper bows and soon after that Nikhita asked her mother for help making real bows. After spending a day on You Tube studying different patterns, Nikhita picked out the types of bows she wanted to make and over 3 years, they made over 500 bows.

In the summer of 2016 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, Nikhita and her mother started doing trunk shows to help people and pets of all ages find the perfect bow. To learn more about Nikhita, please check out her book, Business Advice From a 6-Year-Old.
